Wood Siding Installation

Wood siding can be one of the most beautifying siding finishes available, but it requires regular maintenance and it can be one of the more expensive siding options to install.  To ensure that the wood is protected from the elements and lasts a long time, wood siding should be cleaned regularly, and painted or water sealed every three to five years.  Click on the link to view our article on wood siding maintenance.

Vinyl Siding Installation | Vinyl Siding Repair

Vinyl siding is the most cost effective siding option available with the least amount of required maintenance.  In recent years, vinyl siding architectural designs have improved from the older 1980's clapboard plastic look.  There are is many colours and designs that a creative mind can imagine.  The siding design options also include shake, stone veneer,  or even shingles. Vinyl siding an also be purchased and installed in thicker gauges to help prevent hail damage, or other storm related siding damages.  This is something that is becoming required by insurance companies in order to receive lower rates.

Engineered Siding Installation

Engineered siding is a structurally sound material that is produced with organics (wood) and other materials to produce a flawless finish.  Engineered siding requires a water sealant or paint to properly protect it from rain, moisture or snow.  This is a fairly low cost siding option that is also environmentally friendly, as it is made from recycled materials.

Brick & Mortar

Brick and mortar is a strong finish to your homes exterior.  The installation of masonry materials is done by our experienced masons and brick layers.  This option can be fairly expensive as compared to other siding options, but with minimal maintenance will last the longest.  The best analogy to use for this can be summarized in the three little pigs children's story.

Stucco Installation | Stucco Repair

Stucco has become increasingly popular again in recent years.  The installation of stucco involves installing a mesh wire system (preferably plastic) on the exterior of your home and then applying a cement product.  To avoid moisture buildup on the inside of your homes framing, only experienced Professional Stucco Installers should be contracted.  Given the extreme temperature fluctuation we experience in Canada, stucco can be susceptible to cracking.

Metal Siding Installation

Aluminum siding is a good rust inhibitor but can be damaged or dented fairly easily.  Metal siding is stronger, but will oxidize if not treated properly and is also very heavy.
