Chimney Cleaning - Canadian Chimney

Chimney Cleaning

We will clean your chimney from the inside of your home using the most advanced techniques and equipment.  Our high revolution, rotary chimney cleaning tool does a far superior job than the old standard chimney brushes.  The drill mounted, multiple bristle unit revolves around at 2000-3000 r.p.m.  This insures the deepest clean available without damaging your unit.  We will also use a high powered vacuum to control the dust.  This along with our floor coverings will ensure no mess is left behind.

This cleaning service is best suited for people that get their chimney cleaned on a yearly basis or when you have had 60 to 70 fires using dry wood.  We recommend that most people get a chimney inspection along with the chimney sweeping service.  A chimney and fireplace inspection is far more important than simply having your chimney cleaned.  Simply having your chimney swept does not render it compliant.

Wood-stove chimney sweep and inspection services and fireplace insert services are also available, and offered by Canadian Chimney.  Additional discounts are available on multiple units & services. For specific prices in your area and type of chimney service, please click on the link of your area below or give us a call.

Fire Code 2.6.1.4. Chimneys, Flues and Flue Pipes
2)  Chimneys, flues and flue pipes shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them free from dangerous accumulations of combustible deposits
A-2.6.1.4.(2)

The presence in a chimney of deposits of soot or creosote in excess of 3mm thick will indicate the need for immediate cleaning, possible modification of burning procedures, and more frequent inspections.
